Jean Schlichte was the founder of WHOA in Aiken, SC (Women Helping Others Achieve). It was established in 2008 by several equestrian women who wanted to help other women equestrian women achieve their goals. In 2010, I was the recipient to that scholarship. It helped me as I trained as an alternate for WEG.
With great sadness, I announce the passing of Jean Schlichte and offer the Schlichte family, friends, and members of WHOA my deepest condolences.
