I have officially withdrawn myself and Lou from our nationals/3*. I was both unable to raise the funds to continue on to the competition and felt that Lou's stamina would eventually affect his soundness and did not want to ask him to do all that and risk injury. He was happy, but exhausted by the week before we were to leave for Saugerties from Blue Hill, and I felt it was too much to ask him to continue. There will be another 3* in Wellington, FL in December which I will attend.
All was not lost though. Lou and I have had an awesome time learning from Missy and Jessica Ransehousen and from Jean Luc Cornille. Thank you to all the Blue Hill grooms, Missy, Jes, Jean Luc, Jean, JoAnne, Sue, Eadie, and Brewster for helping this be such a great learning time.
